What/who started you racing: I started racing because I enjoyed the competition and I was always the one who wanted to win bad.

Most important people in your life and career: My family, girlfriend, friends, all my sponsors and the people that have helped me out.

Best part of racing: Traveling and meeting new people, hanging out with all the guys of the World Cup circuit. 

Hardest part: All the airports, long flights and drives!

Worst moment in career: Probably my shoulder injury of the 2013 season taking me out of the running for the top 5 overall in the World Cup.

Best moment in career: Winning the 2009 Junior World Champs and my first World Cup win.

General career goals: Winning the Elite Men's World Championship, winning the World Cup Overall, and use my money from the sport wisely, investing in housing and other investments.

Favourite food: Thai food, roast meal can't beat that!

Favourite reading: Used to be Dirt Magazine

Favourite music: A bit of everything. R&B, Hip Hop, and House music.

Best idea of having good time: To just enjoy life as much as you can because it only happens once.

Favourite place to travel to: Thailand, Japan, Norway, Canada.

Most respected mountain bike riders: Sam Hill, Greg Minnaar, Steve Peat.

Other most respected athletes: James Stewart, Mohammed Ali.

Favourite riding spots and courses: Whistler, Mont-Saint-Anne, Champery.

Advice to beginners: Just have fun riding your bike and race as many races as you can.

Why do you ride: It's my passion and so much fun

What/who started you racing: Riding with friends on fun tracks when I was young, then it progressed from there.

Hardest part: Not doing well and living out of a suit case for months of a year.

Worst moment in career: Injuring myself at the end of an already bad season in 2011.

Best moment in career: Getting my first World Cup podium in Norway for sure.

General career goals: To make a career of biking so I can race for as long as possible.

Favourite food: All of Mum's home baking

Best idea of having good time: Hanging out with mates riding, at the beach, races etc

Favourite riding spots and courses: Queenstown (NZL) is my favourite place to ride and my favourite race course is Mont-Sainte-Anne.

Advice to beginners: Always remember to keep the fun in riding/racing

Why do you ride: Love

What/who started you racing: Stu Thompson. I saw Stu as a bit of a hero when I was younger from seeing him in MTB magazines and DVD's. I got word one day that he was running a training camp near me so I went along and met Stu and a few other downhill racers, spent the day riding and that was it, I knew downhill is what I wanted to do.

Weakness: Being too nice.

Most important people in your life and career: Got to be Mum & Dad, Family & Friends and My Team.

Professional since: 2013

Best part of racing: Having a good run and winning. Can't beat it!

Hardest part: Bad decisions and injuries hurt.

Worst moment in career: Not many 'worst' moments. I'm very happy to be doing a job that I love.

Best moment in career: Fort William World Cup last year I finished 10th, the best result of my career thus far. With my family and friends being there, and my 21st birthday weekend, it was pretty special.

General career goals: Do the best I can and never give up.

Favourite food: Sushi and Moroccan dates.

Favourite reading: Athlete Autobiographies

Favourite music: I love allot of different Music. House/Rap/Grime/Dance.

Best idea of having good time: Probably a day out at the trails with some good friends then an evening at the beach for a BBQ.

Favourite riding spots and courses: Rollercoaster jump track in Hafjell, Norway is rad!

Advice to beginners: Have fun and enjoy the ride.

Why do you ride: I ride because I love riding! I have a lot of friends that ride and it's what me and my Dad do, so it's pretty important to us! I've always loved bikes and the places they take you to as well as the people you meet.

What/who started you racing: My Dad started racing when I was 7 and I thought he was so rad doing that, so I just grew into it from there really.

Weakness: Not trusting my own lines and choices on the track.

Weakness: Riding blind sections fast.

Strengths: Preparation

Most important people in your life and career: Family, friends and sponsors around me. For racing it's definitely my Dad. I wouldn't have any of this without him.

Racing since: 2009

Best part of racing: Crossing the finish line knowing you have done your best and having my friends around me.

Hardest part: Crashing in race runs.

Worst moment in career: Don't really have one!

Best moment in career: My first World Cup podium in Meribel, France and also the 2013 British National Championships. Even though I crashed in my race run and was properly gutted, it turned out I'd won!! From one emotional extreme to another made it so cool!

General career goals: Continue having fun, keep improving, and one day be a World Champion.

Favourite food: Thai food, and a good roast dinner always please me.

Favourite reading: Freakonomics and Super Freakonomics

Favourite music: I like all kinds, too hard to pick one genre.

Best idea of having good time: Riding bikes in somewhere like the Alps and being around mates.

Favourite place to travel to: New Zealand, Thailand, America and the Alps.

Most respected mountain bike riders: Steve Peat, Sam Hill and Troy Brosnan.

Other most respected athletes: Sam Willoughby and Stephen Murray

Favourite riding spots and courses: Rheola (in South Wales, Port du Soleil, Mιribel World Cup track, and Coronet Peak just near Queenstown.

Advice to beginners: Watch Josh Bryceland and Fabian Barrel's DirtTV flow videos, and always have a laugh!

Other sports: Racing BMX and a little Skateboarding

Other interests: Hanging around with friends and family and playing with my baby sister!
